First I create the rough blocking. I block out the scene as though I'm animating. The more I add in this stage the better the result!

Next I draw the clean lines & in-between frames!
Final Colours + Backgrounds + Composition
Lastly, I color the characters, illustrate the background, and composite to finalize the piece. With compositing I adjust the levels of the colors and add overlay layers to add the final touches!
